The Wyoming Legislature created the Wyoming State Board of Nursing Home Administrators in 1969 to protect the welfare of the public by regulating nursing home administrators.

The Wyoming State Board of Nursing Home Administrators primary function is to provide public safety by regulating the professionals who operate, manage, supervise or are in charge of a nursing home.
