Emergency Rules - The Governor signed the Board's emergency rule packet with changes to Chapter 2 effective July 20, 2022. These emergency rules were renewed for an additional 120 days. Details can be found on the Board's Rules and Practice Act page.

NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATORS

The Wyoming State Board of Nursing Home Administrators is staffed through the Professional Licensing Boards Office, a division of A&I.

Creation of the Board

The Wyoming Legislature created the Wyoming State Board of Nursing Home Administrators in 1969 to protect the welfare of the public by regulating nursing home administrators.

The Wyoming State Board of Nursing Home Administrators (Board) primary function is to provide public safety by regulating the professionals who operate, manage, supervise or are in charge of a nursing home.

The Board operates solely based on fees collected from licensees and receives no general fund money.
